Eric Schmidt: 'Android Efforts Started Before the iPhone Efforts'

Google Chairman Eric Schmidt recently defended accusations by Steve Jobs that Android is a stolen product, according to an Associated Press report.
Schmidt told reporters that he's still "very sad and recovering from the sense of loss" and doesn't think it's right to comment on Jobs' words in Walter Issacson's biography.
"I decided not to comment on comments that are written in the book after his death. I don't think it's right," Schmidt said, describing Jobs as a "fantastic human being" who he "dearly" misses.
"Most people would agree that Google is a great innovator, and I would also point out that the Android efforts started before the iPhone efforts. And that's all I have to say," Schmidt said.
Nobody said he said google created android. They said bought android. The issue is saying 'before' iPhone, which leaves the door open to talk about other relative issues if one chooses to freely do. Definitely talk about 'bubble universe' and creating your own facts.
Really? Before the iPhone? So Google was there back when Apple teamed up with Motorola and launched the ugly MotoRokr with iTunes back in the 200"'s?
I guess no.

Google bought Android. They have not even invented Android.
The iPhone have its origin in the Newton and Apple actively started its tablet project in 2000-2001 that lead to the iPhone and later to the iPad.
BTW. How much work have Google done with Android? It's the worlds most expensive "free" system. Google bought Android, have developed it for 6 years, payed of Linux patents and bought Motorola Mobile to get patents. Google have spent 20 billion on this "free" system.
And all poor Google vendors that have to pay protection fees to Microsoft 5-15 dollar per Android device. 9 Android vendors so far, over a billion per year in license fees. Somehow they fork over the money since they know that they break patents with Android.
Google is great + Android both Schmidt needs to stop trolling.
@boreddrummer...well said. I'd like to add my conclusion: -In today's world we tend to create our own bubble universe and I emphasize, love to neglect facts and simply ignore any sense of reality, nevertheless would never bother to pay true attention to fully understand what others state.-
